Cancellation Policy

Booking and Cancellation Policy At Chatterbox English, we aim to provide flexible, well-organised lessons that support steady progress for every student. To keep our schedule running smoothly and to make sure lessons are fair and accessible for all, please review the following policy: Lesson Booking Lessons can be booked up to three weeks in advance. This helps with continuity of learning and allows time for planning lessons that meet your individual goals. Cancellations and Rescheduling Lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made after this period will be treated as a no-show and deducted from your lesson package. This policy helps maintain consistency for both students and teachers and ensures availability across the schedule. Lesson Packages Packages of ten lessons are valid for twelve weeks from the date of purchase. Any unused lessons after twelve weeks will expire and cannot be recovered. This time frame encourages consistent study habits and supports ongoing progress. Lesson Frequency Students who wish to take more than three hours of lessons per week should contact the school in advance to confirm availability. Learning Recommendations Lesson Frequency Two lessons per week are recommended for continuous progress and measurable improvement. One lesson per week works well for maintenance or gradual, long-term development. Study Time and Progress On average, it takes around 100 to 120 hours of study to improve by half a CEFR level (for example, from B1 to B1+). For part-time learners studying four to eight hours per week, including lessons and self-study, this progress usually takes around three to four months. Additional Practice Progress can be enhanced by combining lessons with independent exposure to English, such as: Watching television series, films, or online lectures in English Listening to podcasts or audiobooks Reading books, articles, or news Conversing with classmates, colleagues, or English-speaking friends Students are also welcome to request topics or resources that interest them. Materials that align with your goals can be added to the Learning Management System (LMS) to support your independent study between lessons. Our Commitment At Chatterbox English, we believe learning should be enjoyable, practical, and effective. This policy ensures we can provide high-quality teaching, maintain an organised schedule, and give every student the support to succeed.
